.Hello Rails Community,

My name is Pete Schroeder, and I am so excited to have been chosen to lead Spooner High School (SHS) as the new principal. My background and experiences give me a unique perspective on education. During my adult life, I have spent time in the military, manufacturing, sales, and, of course, education. From these experiences, I can usually answer the question, “When will I ever use this again in my life?”, and I understand that everyone has a path to success.

At Spooner High School, we will strive to “move the needle” toward achieving our student’s individual goals. Whether entering the workforce or going to college, we will do our best to guide and help our students along the way by giving them a variety of experiences in the classroom, athletics, and in clubs. 

Through these experiences and pathways to success, we will achieve the Spooner Area School District’s Mission, “Preparing each student for a successful future.”

I am eager to get to know the students, staff, and the entire Rails community. Let’s move the needle together!
