Bullying/Harassment Resources |
|
Bullying or Harassment are serious and will not be tolerated. Any alleged bullying or harassment that occurred on school property, at a school-sponsored activity or event off school property, on a school bus, or on the way to and/or from school, in the current school year should be reported to the students building office or school counselor/social worker. Reports will be submitted to the school Principal for follow up (If, for some reason, you do not want to send the information to the Principal, a report may alternatively be submitted to the Superintendent).
Parents and students are encouraged to visit the "Family Matters Practical Parenting Blog: Bullying, Facts and Myth" for multiple articles on Bullying and what you can do to support your child. This "Family Matters" resource is an excellent resource to help better understand bullying, what to do, and how to help.
If you fear that a student is in IMMEDIATE danger, contact the school Principal or the local police.
