Purpose:
The Spooner Education Foundation, with the collaboration of our community, aims to enhance the educational opportunities of students in the Spooner Area School District by generating financial support and other resources.
Engaging the Community:
Great schools rely on a strong community and a strong community requires great schools!
Engagement of our local and broader community is imperative for successful schools and student achievement.
Inspiring Children:
By funding innovative programs, new technologies, and projects that promote civic involvement, we create opportunities that spark children to think broadly, creatively, and with curiosity.
Teachers, staff and students are awarded grants to support areas of education that are valuable to students’ learning but not typically supported by a school’s budget.
More than $60,000 has been awarded to inspire children over the last 10 years!
