The Counteract program is a part of the sixth grade Social Studies Curriculum. It will be taught by an officer from the Washburn County Sheriff’s Department one day a week throughout September and October during social studies class.. This enables students, parents, schools and law enforcement to work together in a positive way to prevent the use of alcohol and other drugs.
