Class Registration Information
Pre-registration is necessary for all classes and events. Many classes fill quickly.
Sessions will be cancelled if sufficient enrollment is not received; such fees will be fully refunded. Avoid disappointment of class cancellations, register early and invite a friend or two to register with you.
Assume you are in class and it will be held at the time and place indicated. When classes are cancelled at Spooner Area School District due to inclement weather, all day and evening ComEd classes and activities are cancelled. SACE assumes no responsibility for reaching those who do not provide a daytime email address or telephone number.
All SACE classes are self-funded; we depend on enrollment to cover the cost of instructors. If you need to cancel a registration, you must notify us at 715-635-0243, or collinsk@spooner.k12.wi.us, at least 5 business days before the class begins. Classes: Refunds will only be made if requested at least 5 business days ahead, minus any unrecoverable costs. No refunds will be made within 5 days of class start or after your class has started. Trip: No refunds will be given after the noted registration deadline unless you find someone else to take your place. If there is a waiting list for the class or trip, Community Education will help find a replacement.
Three ways to register for Community Education classes:
- Fill out a registration form and mail to our ComEd office, address below. Be sure your check is made out to the correct entity - class descriptions state if payment should go to “WITC” otherwise, payment should come to SACE.
- Online registration with a credit card is available for Spooner Area Community Education (SACE) classes. Go to https://spooner.revtrak.net/tek9.asp, click on the Spooner Area Community Education (SACE) icon.
- Online registration with a credit card is available for WITC classes. Go to www.witc.edu, click on “ClassFinder” (on left-hand column).
Several classes may be offered in collaboration with Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC). This is a great partnership offering benefits such as Continuing Education Credits, and reduced rates for seniors aged 62 and older. Classes held at Spooner Schools, unless noted.
