Spooner Area School District provides wireless network access within all school buildings for staff, students and community based on need. Below are descriptions of Wireless SSID’s available for use along with instructions on how to connect.
- School Owned Devices:
- SSID: SASD
- All district owned devices (laptops, Chromebooks and iPads) are managed with the wireless settings already setup to access our district SASD wireless network. If you are using a district owned device, no setup is necessary on your part. If you are having difficulties enter an IT help desk ticket at http://sasd-3/helpdesk/ .
- Staff and Student Personal Devices:
- SSID: SASD-WebAuth
- Spooner Area School District staff and students who have read and signed the AUP Policy (362) and accompanying sign off form may connect personal devices to the SASD-WebAuth wireless ssid. Click here watch video tutorial on how to connect your device.
- Note: Any device connected through the WebAuth ssid are placed on student level filtering regardless of person using the device.
- Non-School Personnel:
- Guest Instructors, sales persons, or other individuals with need to use the district wireless network may request access prior to use district office. A temporary guest login id and instructions will be provided.
